St. Joachim's day Tournament

Hear Ye all in fair Kingdom of Drachenwald and Knowne World!

Let it be known by all noble Men and Ladies who follow the vocation of Arms, that to avoid Idleness, that mother of all Vices, to learn Humility, that Virtue so hard for a man-at-arms, and to put our Prowess, which a noble should practise tirelessly, to test,

We, the signatories hereby invite all willing men, who by birth are eligible for tourney, to meet us on the shore of lake Marsjö at Kavalahti, on the day of St. Joachim and St. Anna, that is 26th July this year AS XLI, where under the eyes of most noble lady, Maestra Eufemia Serafina da Bergamo and the Chosen Ones of Our Hearts we shall be prepared to defend our badges against all challengers.

Who wishes to help us in our quest to test our Prowess, shall step forth and touch one of the shields put forth there, to signal the weapons he wishes to use, and with whom he wishes to fight, and his request shall be accommodated to the best of our ability.

Let the Deeds be done with matched weapons until one of the combatants has received three solid blows. If a combatant loses his weapon let it be counted as one strike received, and so also if a combatant falls helpless to the ground.

So say we:
Earl Cadogan map Cado,
Baron Dafydd Myfyrgar,
Lord Erec von Rosenfels,
Lord Mikael Carhu,
Lord Oliver
and Lord Mikael Rantzow
