On sunday 15.7. there is a chance to try (and see) old-fashioned triathlon in the style of the Vikings. The games will start at 7 p.m. (19:00). The three contests are Glima (Viking-style wrestling), axe throwing and sack-fighting on a timber. There is also pancake party going on same time! No advance reservation is required, the pancakes are free for everyone present.
Of outdoor games, on site there will be at least "nihti". It is held at the troll, and it will be available for loan throughout the event.
Of board games, on site there will be at least checkers, hnefatafl and backgammon, probably chess as well. The games are available for loan in the workshop room of the dining hall building throughout the event.
At some point there will most likely be some pre-organised dancing, but, of course, you are just as well free to dance ex tempore whenever you feel like it. We will try to arrange so that there is an electric bard and some dance music available for any would-be dancers.
